Hey everybody. I’ve decided to take a break from Student Crossing over the summer. My head isn’t in the right place to be making comics and I feel I’m making a diservice to the comic as well as you, the reader, by struggling to find free time to write and draw this comic. As I’ve stated before, a lot of things are changing for me over the summer. I’m getting married, I’m moving, I’m getting a semi-new job, I’m trying to watch every season of Lost in a row. I’m going to be busy. So, no new comics until September. I don’t have an exact date yet, but I will let you know when I know. I’m very excited to dive head first back into the comic once all of the craziness is over. My plan is to have Student Crossing come back stronger than ever and I hope you will still be around when that happens. Thanks for sticking around, the handful of you that have been, and I will see you in the fall!
Until then…

Hi everyone! Long time no type. I’ve decided to add some commentaries to all of my comics to show a little of my process and to drop some tidbits of info about each strip. I’m starting with the current storyline and then I’ll start at the beginning and work my way back up! Hopefully this will add to the enjoyment of re-reading the old strips! I don’t plan on boring you to death with useless information, but I think it will be mildly-informative is nothing else. Possibly uninformative…but fun!
As I’ve posted in the past, I am getting married in July and then I will be subsequently moving to Yakima, WA as my new bride will be attending school over there. What does that mean for the comic? Well, funny you should ask, as it means that I will be a little swamped in the coming months as I experience the whole marriage thing whilst trying to slip in a comic or two. My goal has been at least one comic a week for the past few months. I think I did alright. Now for the good news: I’m going to have nothing but extra free time over in ol’ Yakima, so I plan on taking the comic up a notch. I will have the new site design up and running and I will post more regularly. Not sure how much yet, you’ll have to wait and see. So, plan on seeing some changes this coming fall and keep coming back to check out a new comic every now and then
Until next time…

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check in and let you know that I’m still pluggin’ along on my little comic. Life is kinda hectic right now what with the wedding and gearing up to move. Things are gonna go a little slow for the next few months. Once all of the craziness is over and after I’ve moved, I look forward to getting back on track in a big way! I hope to really amp up my focus on the site with a new look and a consistent update schedule. My hope is to do a comic every week day. That would be shweet. Anyhoo, keep checking back as I will periodically update the site with a new comic and keep this storyline going. Can’t wait for September!
Thanks for hangin’ in there if you have been!
Until next time…

I’d like to say that I planned this storylie to last through Christmas into January in order to keep the Holidays alive, but this is not the case. I originally planned for the final installment of the X-Mas Carol to commence on Chritmas day. As usual, I quckly fell behind and will be lucky to wrap this up by the end of this month. So, Christmas will last a little longer this year at Student Crossing.
I was recently listening to a recent Webcomics Weekly podcast by the good gentlemen over at Half Pixel. I found myself becoming very discouraged by some of the things they were saying and found myself unwilling to do anything with my comic for about a week. Needless to say I got past it and got back to work. I will post my thoughts and response to their discussion when I think about it some more. I agree with a lot of what they have to say, but sometimes I think that they can’t see beyond their own world.
Thanks for sticking around through the holidays! I’m looking forward to the New Year and all the things in store for Student Crossing!
Until next time…

Hey everyone. Long time no typey. My work schedge had made it difficult to do any work on Student Crossing over the weekend. But, I’m back. Back again. Guess who’s back. Tell a friend. Like I said a few posts earlier, I’ve had this Christmas themed storyline in my back pocket for a couple years, so I’m super-pumped to finally do it. As you may have guessed by the title of the storyline that this story is based on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
But, with a twist.
I actually hate it when anyone says that something has a twist to it. It’s like they’re specifically implying that they are creative and that they thought of something that no one else has ever thought of. When in fact the “twist” is usually lame and doesn’t make any sense. But, as long as they call it a “twist” everyone goes along with it.
But not this twist. This will be a twist to remember. I stand by my twist and laugh in the face of all twists before it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Forgive me. It’s too early to be typing. Expect a new comic tonight as well as tomorrow and Friday.
Until next time…
